TERMS & CONDITIONS

Please make note of the following important TERMS & CONDITIONS on booking The Glam Boss. Please read these User Terms carefully as they are a legal document and, on your booking, you agree to be bound by these User Terms.

It is the responsibility of the client who books to understand, agree and be responsible for all booking conditions, including all payments are made by specified dates.

FEES

Prices quoted on our website and in our marketing materials are intended as a guide only and the price provided in the signed quotation form is the final amount due and payable.

BOOKING FEE

A non-refundable booking fee of 100% of the total fee quoted is to be paid upon booking to secure the booking.

The fees quoted may not include costs associated with parking and/or any other unique or special requirement/s that are not known to us at the time of this quote, such as tattoo, bruise or vein coverage.

Booking will be subject to availability – please contact The Glam Boss to confirm our availability.

The client scheduling the appointment will be held responsible for the total booking fee amount.

PAYMENT

Deposit

  • A non-refundable 100% is required on all bookings on confirmation of the booking in order to secure the booking.
  • For bookings made on short notice, the deposit is payable immediately upon signing of the booking Agreement.
  • A booking is not confirmed until payment has been received.
  • Upon receipt of the payment you will be sent a booking confirmation and receipt via email.
  • If your booking is made via our website, you will need to call us on 0432 654 568 to organise a payment to hold your appointment.

When Do I Pay?

  • Prices quoted are valid for 5 business days from the quotation date and are subject to change. Please note that all prices are subject to change.
  • Full and final payment of your booking is due within 2 business days of the booking date, unless otherwise agreed.

How Do I Make Payment?

  • Payments can only be made by cash or bank deposit / transfer.

BOOKING DATE TRANSFERS

There is no charge by The Glam Boss for transferring your booking to an alternative date so long as you notify us at least 4 weeks’ in advance of the original booking date, unless otherwise provided in your quotation.

If The Glam Boss has made bookings with third parties in order to fulfil your booking Agreement, you will be responsible for any costs involved with the change of date.

CANCELLATIONS

What If I Need to Cancel My Appointment?

If you have any changes in your schedule and need to cancel or change your appointment, please contact us as soon as possible on 0432 654 568 with your name, the time of the original appointment and the desired change, but please note our cancellation policy below.

As These Appointments Are Highly Sought After:

  • No shows without prior notice of 48 hours will be charged 100% of the booking fee.
  • Cancellation / Alteration of bookings requires a minimum of 48 hours (prior to your appointment) notice. otherwise your 100% booking deposit will be forfeited.
  • Cancellation / Alterations of bookings scheduled for 8:00am or earlier we require that you notify us 72 hours prior to your booking or your 100% booking deposit will be forfeited.
  • All cancellations on services booked with packages or coupons will result in the loss of that appointment from the package or forfeit of the coupon.

Weddings

All wedding deposits are non-refundable.

Cancellation of any wedding day booking by you must be given 12 days prior in writing, by post or email and will only be confirmed upon receipt of this. The following cancellation fees apply if the booking is cancelled by you.

  • Up to 3 months prior to the date – None
  • 3 months – 2 weeks prior to the date – 50% of the booked amount quoted on your booking confirmation form.
  • 2 weeks prior to the day and under – 100% of the booked amount quoted on your booking confirmation form.

Should The Glam Boss fall ill or unable to attend your booking for unforeseen reasons, all attempts will be made to send a colleague to you who will be fully briefed.   In the event that The Glam Boss may cancel your booking for unforeseen reasons and not be able to find you a suitable replacement makeup artist, all money paid other than the trial shall be refunded.

REFUNDS

The Glam Boss does not offer a full or partial refunds for any completed services; therefore, if you are in any way dissatisfied, the onus is on the client to notify The Glam Boss whilst they are on location.  All discussions regarding refunds / discounts will be entered into on a case-by-case basis.

TRIALS

Customers are required to pay 50% of the booking on confirmation and the balance amount for the trial within 48 hours of the trial. A minimum of 24 hours’ notice must be given if you are unable to attend or would like to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Failure to do so will result in you being charged for the full cost of the appointment.

TIMING

Time management is of the essence therefore adherence to appointment times is critical in ensuring that The Glam Boss delivers the service you expect.  Therefore, when making appointment times please note that these times will be strictly adhered to.  Should unforeseen circumstances arise, the onus is on the client to advise The Glam Boss as soon as practicable.  The Glam Boss is not responsible if desired completion time is not met due to delays by the client.

Brides or Clients do not choose the time at which The Glam Boss and any other artist working with them arrive; The Glam Boss will notify the Brides or clients of their arrival time the week of the wedding / booking.

Changes to Number of Clients/Faces or Times Agreed Upon at Time of Booking

  • Should the number of faces or services change after you have made a payment you will still be charged for those faces and the services. This is based on a loss suffered by us in reserving the date & times required to fulfil your original booking.
  • Should the times change after you have made a payment to secure your booking, and I am not able to fulfil your request due to another booking or commitment, you will still be charged for the services that are not able to be supplied.

MISCELLANEOUS (TRAVEL/PARKING FEES/TOLLS)

A travel fee may be incurred depending on distance required to travel.  In the event that any hotel / motel parking fees are incurred as a result of the location of the appointment, these will be passed on to the client. If parking is to be required at a hotel, we request that you organise this with the hotel in advance and have the charges applied to your room tab.

CONDUCT

The Glam Boss reserves the right to prohibit entry or eject any person from an event based on behaviour deemed inappropriate by The Glam Boss staff member or that breaches The Glam Boss code of conduct.

GENERAL DISCLOSURES AND HYGIENE

You acknowledge that services provide involve me applying skin and hair products directly to the relevant parts of your body & therefore agree that you have disclosed any & all medical or other conditions known to you which a reasonable person would disclose, including but not limited to skin sensitivity, conditions such as active herpes (cold sores) & general allergies for yourself & the other people who are receiving services.

In doing so, you agree that we are not liable for, & will indemnify us from any & all claims, liabilities, costs, loss, & causes of action relating to personal injury or death arising directly or indirectly as a result of your

For hygiene reasons, makeup artists cannot use your own personal makeup products.

Please note that The Glam Boss cannot work on clients who are contagiously ill (e.g. with the flu or other virus’). Service will be refused at the Artist’s discretion.

The Glam Boss or any artist working with you is not, under any circumstances, responsible for any allergic reactions to products used. The onus is on the client to notify The Glam Boss if you have particular hypersensitivity that you are aware of. Should you bring your own product that you are familiar with, the stylist would be happy to use the product.

PRIVACY

The Glam Boss values the protection of your privacy and personal information. Your details will be provided to third parties only if a booking has been made with them on your behalf for the purposes of fulfilling the booking.

SOCIAL MEDIA / PROMOTIONAL MATERIAL

The Glam Boss is authorised to publish photographs / videos taken at the booking or event for use in The Glam Boss print and online marketing materials, as well as other publications from time to time.
