What location does TGB Service?

Service is provided to most areas in the following locations:

  • Perth NOR ($20 fee will be incurred for locations upto 20km from Studio)
  • Perth SOR ($20 fee will be incurred for locations upto 20km from Studio)
  • Perth CBD (Parking fees incurred)

Note: any parking fees incurred by The Glam Boss will be on-costed to the client.

APPOINTMENTS

How do I book?

Request an appointment by either calling 0432 654 568 or by filling out the form on the book now page of the website. If you would like to make a special request please email theglambosscontact@gmail.com with your name, service, address, phone number, time and date of the requested appointment.

How long is the appointment?

All of the services include a consultation at the beginning of the appointment.

Appointment length differs depending on the service:

  • Blowouts takes up to 30 minutes, depending on hair length and texture;
  • Braids, which also include a blowout, take 30 minutes;
  • Makeup application appointments is 1 hour;
  • Group Bookings can take up to 2.5hrs +; and
  • Workshops are usually 1.5hrs.

How do I prepare for my appointment?

For a blowout or braid, I request you have “Wet Hair, In The Chair.” This means you should wash your hair 20-30 minutes prior to the appointment so your hair is damp but not soaking wet. For up-dos, no need to shampoo before your appointment. Dry hair is best, and recommend you wash it the day before your appointment to see the best results.

For makeup, please have a makeup-free, cleansed face prior to our artists’ arrival.

The Glam Boss loves your pets but some of our beauty professionals are allergic or scared. If you could please create an animal free zone before we come, it would be appreciated for the safety of our Glam Squad stylists.

We ask that you have a place to sit near an electrical outlet and a flat surface so we can plug in our equipment and lay out our tools / products. It is very important that you are ready for your GLAM BOSS appointment on time.

What styles do you offer?

If I don’t see the look on the menu, can I request something else?

Yes, please ensure to email your look to The Glam Boss one week prior of your booking date, so we can ensure proper logistics are covered eg. enough time is allocated for your appointment.

We ask that the look / image has the same eye colour, same age and same skin tone as you as this can make a big difference with the end result.

PRODUCTS

What products / tools do the beauty professionals carry with them?

Each hair stylist’s kit contains a blow-dryer, flat-iron, curling irons and brushes of varying sizes and styling product.

Each makeup artist’s kit is curated to include an array of skin care and makeup products in order to create a variety of natural beauty looks. The artists carry brands that are considered industry standards, and our director of makeup reviews each artist’s kit to ensure it adheres to our standards of quality and cleanliness.

Can my artist add faux lashes during my makeup appointment?

Yes! Artists carry a variety of faux lashes ranging from natural to dramatic.

Can my hair stylist add hair extensions?

Yes, only if discussed prior to your appointment.  This is to ensure enough time has been allocated.

Do you do weddings?

Yes! The Glam Boss offers high-quality, professional hair and makeup services for brides and the bridal party. From the engagement photos, bridal shower and bachelorette party, to the rehearsal dinner and the big day, The Glam Boss highly trained beauty professionals are there every step of the way to help you, your bridal party and guests look and feel beautiful. Can I buy this as a gift for someone?

Yes! You can purchase gift vouchers by going to the vouchers & gifts page of the website.

Do you do large parties?

We offer 20-minute dry styling, makeup refresher and styling for large groups (bachelorette, birthdays, etc) and corporate events. You can book hair, makeup, style or a combination! Dry styling includes curls, waves, straight hair, pony-tail and buns on clean, dry hair. No noisy hairdryer needed.

The makeup refresher is a modified version of our full makeup application, working with your already existing foundation and refreshing a combination of the eyes, lips, and cheeks.

Each dry hair style and makeup refresher takes about 20 minutes, so we can accommodate 3 women per hour, per hair stylist/makeup artist.

Who are the beauty professionals coming to my home/office?

All hand-picked and incredibly talented, The Glam Bosses hair, makeup artists and fashion stylist are required to have years of  experience. Each qualified applicant is deeply background checked and goes through a rigorous character assessment before joining the team.

PACKAGES

Why purchase a package?

The Glam Boss is not here just for special occasions. Packages are a great way to save money on a blowout that typically costs $95 (gst inclusive) for those who want to make looking and feeling great a regular part of their routine each month.

What happens when I purchase a package?

You will receive an email confirmation once you’ve successfully purchased a package.

Your package credits will automatically be added to your account and applied upon booking.

When does, my package expire?

Please refer to Hair or Makeup pages and voucher & gifts page.

Can I cancel any unused portion of my package and get a refund for the balance?

All packages are non-refundable.

How do I know how many package credits I have left?

Can I give my package or part of my package as a gift?

Your package can only be used by you. However, we sell gift vouchers for both packages and custom amount.

Can I apply my package credits towards another service e.g. Eyebrow appointment/s?

Your package credits cannot be applied towards any other services.

Can I apply my package credits to future appointments I have already booked?

Your package credits can only be applied to new appointments.

What if I can’t book an appointment for my desired date & time?

All appointments are subject to availability. Our peak days of operation include Friday, Saturday and Sunday. It’s best to book in advance, and you can also check back for additional availability or be placed on a waiting list, if you’re unable to schedule an appointment for your desired date & time.
